Journal entries are protected so that only your signed-in account can read, change or delete them.
What we use your words for
Dream text is sent securely to Legacy AI only to create your reflection. We don't put dream text into analytics or logs.
Guests
If you aren't signed in, nothing you write is saved. We keep only an anonymous daily counter to limit free AI previews.
Export and delete
Export your journal anytime from My Journal. Delete single entries, or your entire account and data, from Account.
Who we are
Legacy Dreams is run by GLP Legacy, which is responsible (the data controller) for your personal data.
What we collect and why
Your email and sign-in details (to run your account), the dreams and journal entries you choose to save (to provide the service), basic usage counts and IP-based limits (for fair use and security), and support messages. We rely on our contract with you, our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure, and your consent where asked.
Payments
Paid memberships are sold by our reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record, which handles payments, tax and invoicing. We never see your full card details.
Who we share with
Hosting and AI service providers that help run the app, Paddle for subscriptions and payments, professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires.
How long we keep data
Until you delete it or your account. Deleted data is removed or anonymised, except what we must keep by law.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct or delete your data, and object to or restrict how it's used. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Security and cookies
We use encryption and access controls. We only use the essential storage needed to keep you signed in.
